Solution 1 – Check if the Bluetooth Support Service is running
- Open your Start Menu and type “Services”, then open the Services window.
- Now sort the massive list alphabetically and find “Bluetooth Support Service”
- Once you have found it, right click it and open Properties.
- Under the General tab, you will see a drop-down for “Startup Type”, make sure this drop-down is set to “Automatic”.
- Now Stop the service – this can take a minute depending on how fast your computer is.
- Once stopped, Start the service again – this again can take some time.
- Now click OK.
Solution 2 – Check if your Power Management options are not interfering
- Open your Start Menu and type “Device Manager”, then open the Device Manager
- Under the “Bluetooth” category in Device Manager, find your Bluetooth adapter
- Right-click your Bluetooth adapter -> Properties -> Power Management tab
- Uncheck “Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power”
- Now click OK and close the Device Manager, then reboot your PC.
